Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 2025-09-15
1. Introduction
Clariia (“we”, “us”) provides tools to help you create and manage content in your own Google account. By using Clariia, you agree to these Terms.
2. Your Account
- You must be legally permitted to use the service and are responsible for your credentials and account security.
- You may disconnect Clariia from your Google Account at any time (see Revocation below).
3. Google Sign-In & Scopes We Request
We request the minimum OAuth scopes needed for the features you use. These may include:
openid
, userinfo.email
, userinfo.profile
, https://www.googleapis.com/auth/documents
, https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file
(or https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive
if broader file selection is required), and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events
(or https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar
if broader calendar access is required). The consent screen will always reflect the exact scopes in use.
4. Google Docs (Creation & Editing)
- Ownership: Docs are created in your Google Drive and owned by you.
- Actions we perform: with your permission, we create or edit Docs you select and insert/update content you request.
- Limitations: we access only Docs you create with or explicitly select for Clariia. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.
5. Google Calendar (Events)
- Scope: with your permission, we create, read, update, and delete events you request on calendars you choose.
- Limitations: we act only on selected calendars and events tied to your request. We do not store full event bodies; only minimal metadata needed for reliability.
- Your responsibilities: ensure you have rights to invite attendees and that event content complies with applicable laws and policies.
6. Data Storage & Security
- We do not store Google Doc content or full event bodies on our servers.
- We may retain minimal operational metadata (IDs/timestamps) necessary to provide features and ensure security.
- We implement encryption in transit, least-privilege access, and audit logging.
7. Human Access
No human reads your Google data unless you request support and explicitly grant access, or where required by law. Such access is restricted, logged, and time-bound.
8. Revocation & Termination
- You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. After revocation, features requiring Google access will stop working.
- We may suspend or terminate access for misuse, abuse, or violations of these Terms.
9. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify features or these Terms. Material changes will be posted before they take effect.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clariia disclaims warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and limits liability for indirect or consequential damages.
